Do you like things that are familiar or to do things over and over? Since it is Groundhog’s Day and in honor of the movie. We will run on repeat around downtown Perrysburg. We meet on various Sunday mornings at 9 am at local coffee shops. We will meet at the coffee shop and go for a 3-mile run or walk. If you want to run more, you can go out before and join us for the last few miles. Run/walk less if you prefer. No registration, just sign in before heading out and check in upon your return. Come out meet other runners, run/walk, and have some coffee. This run is free and open to everyone.

The streets will come alive with commissioned ice sculptures, live carving demonstrations, inflatable polar bear slide, s’mores and firepits, character meet and greets, scavenger hunt, and more!

The tradition continues! Downtown Perrysburg Inc. is excited to “Take Flight” with your kids in this FREE race for children 2-10 years old. This free race is for pure Winterfest fun! We will begin under the arch near 2nd St. and Louisiana (Behind the tent) at 2:00 p.m. on February 22, 2025. ALL PARTICIPANTS must register for this race in order to participate.
This race is an homage to our sculpture “Against the Wind” found at the beautiful Riverside Park along the banks of the Maumee River in Perrysburg. Thank you to our past board member, Brandi Baker Parcell for her dedication to our community, the DPI Board, and relentless work on the sculpture.
DPI events are made possible with the support of our sponsors, membership, and fundraising events. All DPI donations collected during the Take Flight Kids Dash help to keep our events at little to no cost to the community. As always, thank you for your support and we’re looking forward to seeing you at the 15th annual Winterfest for the whole family to enjoy!
